In a display of sportsmanship and camaraderie, the eagerly anticipated annual President vs. Captains team challenge match took centre stage on Saturday, September 16th. The event, which also serves as a charity fundraiser, managed to raise an impressive £600 this year.

This great achievement is a testament to the unwavering dedication and support of our club members, whether they participated on the green or generously contributed in their absence. The Captain and President are extremely grateful to each and every individual who played a part in making this year's event a resounding success.

This year's chosen beneficiaries of our collective goodwill are the remarkable individuals at Macmillan Cancer Support. Their tireless efforts in providing invaluable assistance to those battling cancer have touched the lives of countless families, making them a worthy recipient of our charitable endeavours.

As the sun set on a day filled with competitive spirit and community unity, it was abundantly clear that our club stands as a beacon of hope and solidarity. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who made this event possible, and we look forward to continuing our tradition of coming together to support noble causes in the years to come.
